My little love

What a cheeky smile!

You're growing so fast little man, I'm sure I've only blinked and suddenly you're not a little squishy bundle, you're turning into a real little boy!

You're developing your own personality  you're always on the go, busy busy all day long! You love opening and closing doors, emptying boxes and knocking down towers. You're not content to just sit and play any more, instead you want to be off and about slithering all around the living room and fishing bits of fluff from goodness knows where! You're so noisy as well now, you chatter all day long although you do go shy if other people are there. You can shout for 'Mumma' and 'Dadad' although I'm not sure it's deliberate! And you can definitely make your wants known with lots of staring and annoyed noises if I don't work it out quick enough.

You love your food especially cheese, yoghurt and chicken. And you like to applaud your banana at snack time! You've pretty much stopped breastfeeding in the day, but at night when you wake up you still have a little feed and then doze back off.

mmm pasta!

You love other babies, although I don't think they love those sharp little teeth (8 now!). My favourite time has to be bath time- I love listening to you and Daddy playing in the bath I can here you giggling from downstairs! Then into pyjamas, milk and a story all cuddled up together. Perfect!

You do love the ducks

Only one week and I'm back to work, and your off to nursery. I feel both excited and sad about it. Maternity leave hasn't all been great, there were times when I dreamt of going back to work, but I'm so glad we've had this time together. I never thought I could love you quite as much as I do (although I think I'd love you even more after a full nights sleep!)
