I found this idea on the amazing
Imagination tree website- and I thought, I've got to try that!
I found a largeish sturdy see through box, dumped our Christmas fairy lights in it with the wire coming out of one corner and then taped some grease proof paper onto the lid to diffuse the light a little.
Then just turn off the lights, add some see through objects and enjoy! Little B really enjoyed this, I set it up whilst he was napping and the look on face when he walked through the door was amazing! He practically threw himself out of my arms to get at it!
We added a piece of rainbow fabric, Spiel und Holz stacking rainbow and a set of Plan toys water blocks to the top.

ReplyDeleteThat's a brilliant idea! My twins would love it, it's a great sensory activity... Also a good way to make use of those christmas lights for the next 10 months!
ReplyDeleteps sorry about early post, not sure what went wrong!
