My parents have recently moved from Shropshire to Devon, I have mixed emotions about the move. In some ways I feel sad that my childhood home has been sold, but then I'm looking forward to spending summers chilling in Devon.
So after Christmas we packed up all our stuff in the car and headed down to Devon for a few days. And we had a ball!
My Sister and her Fiancée came too, so Little B had a whole host of people to entertain him, which was great for him and for me, he's pretty clingy at the moment and cries every time I start to move out of eyesight, but at least I managed to get a couple of lie ins, one nice hot soak and a few hot cups of tea.
The first day we went to Bude for the day, it was pretty chilly but we loved walking along the beach and having chips in the car.

Hey, where's my chip?
The new house is great- a bit holiday home like inside but its slowly starting to look like their home. And there's plenty of land for chickens, goats, sheep and of course Little B!

On New years eve we really pushed the boat out- we stayed up playing board games till midnight! Turns out Articulate is even more fun after a few glasses of wine!

We played Cluedo- Miss Scarlet was played by the bigjigs man

On Wednesday Mum and Dad looked after Little B whilst the Mr and I went out for tea at a local pub- I've made a new years resolution to be a bit more adventurous food wise, so rather than stick to chicken I challenged myself and had a venison and pheasant burger, I'm really fussy about meat, but it was lovely!

On our last day we cycled from Bidestow to Instow. Little B loved sitting on the back of his Dads bike and watching the world go by. I'd really like to start taking Little B out on my bike- I need to practise but I think we could have on two wheels together!

And after all that cycling we stopped for a well earned mushroom burger!
Oh this looks fab! Would have loved to escape somewhere lovely over the hols. Lucky you having such a fab spot to visit your folks. I bet your little one loves it as he get bigger x
