Christmas!

We have had a lovely Christmas so far. On Christmas eve all four of Little B's Grandparents came over for tea (ham and trifle- yum!) and then my parents came over on Christmas day to help little B open his presents!
Stocking hung up ready for Santa!

Plate for his mince pies and sherry!

Little B's bauble on the tree!

We all had stockings from Santa, Mr B's got lots of cross stitch things as he's an amazing cross stitcher, My Mums was Bee themed as they're planning to keep Bees on their new small holding, Dad's was chocolate themed as he's a bit of a chocoholic and Little B got some new bath toys for him and Dad to play with! I even got a stocking myself with a stitch holder, stitch counter and knitting needle end covers in, which was a very pleasant surprise!

Little B got so many beautiful things to open, I think I was more excite than him by the pile of presents! His main present from us was a wooden toy box, and he got a pull along wooden snake, a set of Grimm Toys rainbows, a wooden truck and a set of water blocks from Father Christmas. I just managed to get his doll finished for the big day, although I do need to knit it a little jumper! My parents bought him a lovely wooden toddle truck and he got quite a few lovely board books from friends, plus a set of Maisy books which we'll read together before bed! My present was a very unexpected new SLR camera! I'd bought Mr B a new jumper and a Raspberry Pi (computer thingy!) but wan't expecting much myself so I was made up when I opened it up! I spent the rest of the day messing with all the settings, so expect even more photos than before now I have a fancy camera to play with!
Ooh, what's in here?

Big Jigs truck- the little man is especially good to chew!

Mum and I took Little B out for a walk to work up an appetite before digging in to a beautifully cooked turkey courtesy of Mr B and a Christmas pudding from my Mum. Then there was just time for a few games of Kerplunk before my folks headed back to Devon, Little B was snuggled up in bed and Mr B and I filled in any gaps with turkey and bread sauce sandwiches and watched The Snowman and the Snowdog and Dr Who!
Heading out for a walk in his new hat!

Mr B's family always meet up on Boxing day so we headed over there, stopping off at his Grans on the way as she wan't able to join us! Little B loved the buffet (salmon and spring rolls were his favourites, plus a bit of cream off the trifle!) again he got loads of lovely presents- more wooden toys (and I hadn't even asked for them!) and rocking snail! He got a bit over faced after a while so we went of for a quick stroll. Then the next day we packed up the car and we're now relaxing in Devon on the folks new small holding, where we'll be staying till after new year!

Loving his rocking snail!

Hope you had a fab Christmas!

PS- Santa also bought Little B a new tooth- we now have 4 and I can feel two more about to put in an appearance  he's not sleeping great and clearly feeling a bit sorry for himself!

  1. Thanks for stopping by my blog! There are a few wrinkly bits in my binding but I think that just adds to the look! Besides, over time, the more wrinkly a quilt gets the better I always think :)

Looks like you has a great Christmas! Happy 2013.
